The University of Lille, the INSPE of Hauts-de-France, and the STL laboratory are pleased to invite you to the First Workshop on the theme: "Effectiveness of Pronunciation Teaching in Languages."
The aim of the workshop is to support the training of Master MEEF students (Primary Education, Secondary Education, and Specialization 4: Training Practices and Engineering), trainee teachers, and teacher educators. The event seeks to make the findings of fundamental and applied phonetics research accessible and open for discussion.
The keynote speaker will be Professor Jacqueline Vaissière, Emeritus Professor.
The event will take place in Lille on Thursday, November 27, 2025.
The workshop may be extended to Friday, November 28, 2025, with a second guest speaker, Louisa Hsiang-I LIN (to be confirmed).
Format:
Hybrid: in-person and online participation available.
Cost:
Free for both speakers and attendees. No registration fees.
Research promotion:
Optional broadcasting of talks via the Lille University WebTV.
Selected papers will be published.
