Guest Speaker : Louisa Hsiang-I Lin

Ms Hsiang-I LIN Louisa has over 20 years' experience as a teacher of French as a foreign language. 

Born in Taiwan, she obtained a doctorate in language sciences from the University of Besançon in 2004. In August 2025, she was promoted to Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures (DFLL) at the National Taiwan University (NTU). From 2018 to 2019, she was Deputy Director of the International Chinese Language Program (ICLP). The ICLP is part of NTU's College of Liberal Arts, a centre of excellence for the teaching of modern and classical Mandarin Chinese. She is also a member of DFLL committees, including the Faculty Evaluation Committee, the Curriculum Committee and the European Languages Division Committee, which she coordinated from 2008 to 2010.
